CenterPoint East is located in the heart of one of the most densely populated areas in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Approximately 464,000 people live within 20 miles of the park and more than 705,000 people live within 30 miles. The park is equidistant to Scranton and Wilkes-Barre and is easily accessible via I-81, I-476, and S.R. 315. As indicated below, Northeastern Pennsylvania’s unemployment rate almost always runs higher than state and national averages. Typically, 20,000 to 25,000 people who live within 30 miles of CenterPoint are unemployed.
